EtherCrash is a clone of the extremely popular bitcoin game Bustabit. While the rules and math are exactly the same as the original BustaBit, EtherCrash is built to be played with Ethereum. This gives you much lower transaction fees, confirmation times, and the ability to play almost instantly. EtherCrash also runs on a lower house edge since BaBv2 was released. EtherCrash is licensed by BaB and has been modified to run on Ethereum.

Place a bet. Watch the multiplier increase from 1x upwards. Cash out any time to get your bet multiplied by that multiplier. But be careful because the game can crash at any time, and you will get nothing.

An Ethos is a millionth of one Ether. If you know Ethereum well, you might already know this unit as a Szabo. An Ethos is the same thing. You can use our chatbot Automod to convert Ethos to USD (and other coins) by typing: ?c 1000 ethos to USD. You can deposit and withdraw Ethos at any time from your account page.

Open the deposit page, review the deposit policy, then reveal your personal deposit address. Send from your own wallet, never directly from Coinbase or an exchange.

Accepted assets: ETH, USDT, USDC, or wBTC on Ethereum mainnet, or ETH on Base only. All deposits credit as ethos; non-ETH assets may convert with up to 3.5% spread.

While 12 confirmations are considered secure on the Ethereum blockchain, we rarely wait for all 12. We will never wait more than 12 confirmations to process a deposit, and deposits generally show up within 3-5 minutes of your transaction hitting the blockchain.

Please note that if you send from an exchange, they often wait a while before actually broadcasting your coins.

On your account page, you can transfer Ethos to any Ethereum address automatically. Withdrawals smaller than the balance of our hot wallet are processed instantly and you will be given the transaction ID immediately.

Larger withdrawals appear on the withdrawal page as "PENDING" and require us to manually transfer funds from cold storage. This usually takes less than two hours, but may take up to 24 hours depending on the time of day and other circumstances.

Each withdrawal includes a fixed network fee that is deducted from your withdrawal amount: 1,260 ethos on Ethereum mainnet and 250 ethos on Base.

Withdrawals must be in increments of 1 ethos, with a minimum withdrawal of 10,000 ethos. The fee is subtracted from the amount you request before ETH is sent to your destination address.

If the withdrawal is processed by our hot wallet, it will be broadcast in less than a minute. The time it takes to show up depends on several factors. First, make sure you have followed the correct withdrawal steps:

1. Navigate to the withdrawal page.
2. Press "Request Withdraw". Enter a valid withdrawal address and make sure you understand how withdrawals work when sending to an exchange, web wallet, hardware wallet, ShapeShift, Changelly, or CoinSwitch.co.
3. Within a minute you should see a link to the withdrawal transaction in your withdrawal history. If it says Pending, contact support. On the transaction page, note the number of confirmations (refresh every couple of minutes). It should not take long for confirmations to increase as the Ethereum network validates the transfer.

You do not need a deep understanding of Ethereum transactions, but it helps to know a few basics if you are withdrawing to an address you do not fully control. For example, if you withdraw to Poloniex or another exchange, it is completely up to them to decide how many confirmations are required before they credit your account. Make sure you select the correct withdrawal network and account for the fee that applies (1,260 ethos on Ethereum mainnet, 250 ethos on Base).

Large delays on exchange deposits are common. On average, EtherCrash processes your withdrawal and submits it to the Ethereum network in under 30 seconds. Yes. This is something we take seriously. If you already know your way around the BaB seeding process, you can use our provably fair verifier with the public client seed to verify outcomes. You can also use the third-party JSBin verifierto inspect the source and verify without trusting our site.

The game itself has about a 2% house edge (about 98% RTP). That comes from two parts of the crash formula, which you can inspect on the provably fair verifier.

First, about 1 in 101 games instant-bust at 0x when the game hash is divisible by 101. Those rounds pay nothing to anyone.

Second, every other crash point is scaled by 0.99 in the multiplier formula. That takes another ~1% from the fair payout curve. Together, instant busts plus the 0.99 factor give roughly 2% house edge on the game math alone.

On top of that, EtherCrash returns a social bonus of 0.55% of the amount wagered on non-instant-bust games. Instant busts (~1% of games) award no bonus, so the expected bonus returned to players is about 0.55% × 0.99 ≈ 0.545% of total stakes.

Net of the social bonus, the effective house edge is about 2% − 0.545% ≈ 1.45%, or roughly 98.55% RTP. Individual results still vary a lot; this is the long-run expectation across all players and games.

The social bonus is a special prize awarded to the last players to cash out before the round crashes. It is designed to help skilled players offset house odds.

0.55% of each player's stake goes into the bonus pot. For example, with four players betting 400, 300, 200, and 100 ethos, the pot holds 5.5 ethos. If the largest bettor wins, they receive the full pot. The site calculates the rate the largest bettor would have earned (400 ethos bet = 5.5 ethos bonus, or 5.5/400 bonus per ethos bet) and applies that same rate to the actual winner.

If the 100 ethos player wins, they receive 5.5/400 of 100, or 1.375 ethos. That leaves 4.125 ethos in the pot for the next best-placed player(s).

If the 200 ethos player places second, they are due 2.75 ethos (200 × 5.5/400). With 4.125 ethos still in the pot, they receive the full amount owed.

If the 300 ethos player places third, they are due 4.125 ethos (300 × 5.5/400), but only 1.375 ethos remains in the pot, so they receive that amount and nothing is left for lower placements.

About 1% of games instant-bust at 0x with no bonus awarded. All other games allocate bonuses equal to 0.55% of the amount wagered.
